Every dollar we raise goes to our tutoring program for materials and support as well as to book donations at various community events.

 

Monetary Donations

 

Give Where You Live Campaign

Between November 7 and December 5, 2024, you can make a donation as part of the Kearney community’s annual Give Where You Live campaign. Go to KLC’s page for Give Where You Live.

 

Any other time, you can contribute a monetary donation in the following ways:

Give online to the KLC Operating Fund through the Kearney Area Community Foundation.

Book Donations

 

You can donate gently used books that are in clean condition (no mold or water) to Kearney Literacy Council. These books are sold as a fundraiser at KLC’s annual book sale each February (in conjunction with the Kiwanis pancake feed).

 

Please donate only books, not magazines or reference books (textbooks, encyclopedias, etc.).

 

Drop off your donated books to a library staff person at the front desk of Kearney Public Library during open hours. You may donate up to three boxes of books per day.
